WHERE IS MY JOB??

You all gave me encouragement,

To go and study management.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

You said that if I toed the line

A cushy future would be mine.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

You told me if I went to school

You’d take me in to help you rule.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

I took school loans left and right,

Until my debt was out of sight.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

You said I’d be your golden boy,

The very first that you’d employ.

Where is my job? Where my job?

You told me if I studied hard

I’d fly and never have to plod.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

You said I was a certain natural

To join your might multinational

Where is my job? Where is my job?

You said I was the type who soared

Right up to chairman of the board.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

I crammed, I crawled, and I kissed ass.

To make sure I would more than pass.

Where is my job? Where is my job?

You said I was Armani suited,

To be one of your recruited.

Where is my job? Where is my Job?

You said I was young and vital

Worthy of a corporate title.

Where is my job, my job, my job, my job????

Now you say the global market

Has meant a quick change of target.

World labor costs are forcing

Us to use more out sourcing.

Others I was trained to rule

Have been replaced by robot tools.

These emerging market forces

Mean you have to cut your losses;

And though I have my MBA,

You can’t use me anyway.

So though I earned the highest marks

I spend days marching in the parks.

I’m like the guys I thought I’d rule

Forgive me guys I was a fool

Now I hold up my sign

That says we are the 99

WHERE ARE OUR JOBS,
